Abstract: This paper makes a quantitative study of related data of China’s four regional financial contribution to their economic growth in recent dozens of years. Based on comparison analysis of structure and contribution rate of valued-added of finance, we find that the distribution of China’s regional finance is similar with that of regional GDP, the value-added of finance is highly centralized in the eastern provinces and the contribution rate of regional finance to economic growth in the eastern provinces is higher than that in central, western and northeastern provinces of China. However, the fact that the contribution rate of regional finance is the lowest compared with the other sectors should be paid great attention to.
