Abstract: This paper firstly gives a quick picture about items’ adjustment concerned with trade in the newly revised BOP, and suggests to pay more attention to the influence resulted from the adjustment on China’s trade balance. As the core of the paper, on the basis of estimating the magnitude of such influence and analyzing its impact, it reaches the conclusion that although the influence is not small, but it can not change the landscape of China’s trade-in-goods balance. Finally, four points of thinking about the theory and statistical rules of trade in service are put forward.
