Abstract: Abstract: The former studies of assessing sensitive topics mostly focus on comparing the reporting rate of sensitive behaviors, that is a higher rate means more effective, and the average response time to the questionnaire are almost not considered. In this paper, we assessed the data quality of “Chinese Sexual Behavior and Sexual Relationship” survey in 2006, and abnormal data was identified according to average response time. The characteristics were compared between the respondents who identified as abnormity and the others. The self-evaluation of abnormal respondents and the evaluation of investigators were analyzed. These results were consistent and this indicated that it is feasible to identify abnormal data according to time variables.
