Abstract: The collaborative agglomeration of the producer service industry and the manufacturing industry is conducive to overcoming baumol’s cost disease, solving problems of upgrading China's manufacturing industry, and pushing China from a big manufacturing country to a strong manufacturing country. Firstly, the article explains the theoretical mechanism of the collaborative integration of producer services and manufacturing in China. Secondly, based on the classification standard of producer services (2019), this paper uses the grey GM (1, N) model and the relative index method of industrial collaborative agglomeration to calculate the degree of collaborative integration of producer services and manufacturing in China from the perspectives of industry and urban agglomeration. It is found that the degree of collaborative integration between producer services and manufacturing is deepening, and has gradually moved from manufacturing as the dominant to collaborative integration. From an industry perspective, with the development and application of the Internet technologies, the collaborative integration between manufacturing and the Internet and related services, software and information technology services, monetary and financial services, capital market services and other high-end services. From the perspective of urban agglomeration, producer services and manufacturing industry generally show a trend of regional agglomeration, and the integration model gradually changes from the collaborative agglomeration of a single city or region to the collaborative agglomeration within the urban agglomeration.
