Abstract: Through several years’ development, sampling survey has become one of the main methods of our governmental statistics and was used more and more widely. In this paper, we makes a detailed review and summary for the history of the development of sampling survey of government, and analyzes the problems of current sampling survey from institutional and technical aspects. After that, we put forward some proposals of reform combining with the actual situation.
