Abstract: Two issues were discussed. The first one is how to measure the contribution of technical progress to the economic growth, which was made by following steps: (1) analyzing the difficulties of Solow remainder in its applications and giving tow practical methods of parameters estimation;(2) setting up a new economic growth model without conditions supposed by Solow remainder; and (3) discussing how to measure the contribution of technical progress by using the power analysis. The second one is inter relation between technology, structure, resources allocation, size and economic growth, which was analyzed systematically, so that the quantitative interdependent relations of economic growth with technical progress, industrial structure changes, the efficiency of resources allocation and size economy, were revealed.
