Abstract: Using the recentest national economic accounting data, this paper calculates residents’ total financial asset, its nominal and real growth rate. This paper points out that quick growth of residents’ financial asset is caused by the quick growth of their income without at the expense of the normal growths of current consumption and investment, and residents’ financial asset is an important factor supporting the fast growth of our economy, at the same time may imply the increasing financial risks for the “soft constrains” of the economic system.
