Abstract: Abstract: It is the systematism and normalization of macro-level statistical data quality assessment research that ensure science value and information impression in the research realm. The paper aims at solving two problems: one is ascertaining the research category of macro-level statistical data quality assessment, depending on which the concept structure, method principle, theory basis and function limit of existing researches can be revealed, and the other is probing into feasible test methods for applicability of the data quality assessment methods, in order to ensure credibility of conclusion of the assessment researches. Furthermore, a primary research paradigm of data quality assessment has been declared, and a series of operation rules discussed.
