Abstract: Abstract:The paper analyses the quantitative method to analyze harmonized social and economic development, puts forward the concept of coordination degree and provides the threshold of coordination degree combining with the historical simulation of social and economic development of Qingdao City. It further judges the general coordination degree of social and economic development of Qingdao City in the Tenth Five-Year Plan period and analyses the favorable factors and disbennifit factors in seven aspects. It finally points out the direction to make effort to harmonize social and economic development in the City and provides important support for the government to make macro decisions
