Abstract: The author has introduced several methods measuring the growth rate of industrial production were introduced, expounded that the method calculating gross output by the constant prices of industrial products is no longer fixed for the need to reflect the development of industrial production under the socialist market economy, pointed out the advantage and disadvantage of industrial production index, and how to improve the methodology of compilation of current price index of industrial products.
