Abstract: In general speaking, our fixed capital investment pattern is extension and free-easy-type since the establishment of P.R. of China. Its specific expression are: expanded aggregate, evident extensive characteristics, strong fluctuation, unbalanced regional structure, irrational industrial structure and gradually reduced efficiency. In order to realize the transformation of economic growth pattern, the traditional investment pattern must be thoroughly reformed. The paper raised the target and external environment for realizing the transformation of investment pattern by reviewing and introspecting our fixed capital investment pattern.
