Abstract: The paper researches the development of metropolitan areas of both Around Bohai Region and Changjiang Delta, finds that the size of our cities develops equally even following the policy of firstly developing small and medium size cities, and suggests all the limits to the development of large cities should be eliminated in order to promote urbanization process.
