Abstract: In this paper, some important applications of Input-Occupancy-Output Analysis in the sustainable development are investigated:1. Input-Occupancy-Output table is used as a basis in setting up the sustainable development indicator system; 2. Input-Occupancy-Output analysis serves as a bridge for the sustainable development theory to become the core of economic theory; 3. some applied models of the sustainable development are set up by the help of Input-Occupancy-Output analysis.
