Abstract: Abstract: The energy consumption by China’s exports in both 2002 and 2007 are estimated by used input-output model and the problems and its reason of China’s export structure are empirically analyzed in this paper. The reseach results are as follows: Firstly, the energy consumption by China’s exports have increased rapidly since China joined WTO; Secondly, the proportion of export products made by energy intensive industries is larger, obviously, the structure of the exports is disadvantageous for China reducing energy consumption. Thirdly, coal being a main energy for production and generating electric power in China results in the production costs are low, so its products of energy intensive have competitiveness.
