Abstract: This paper firstly introduces the four common poverty indices, then analyses the decomposed model of anti-poverty. In the end, this paper demonstrates the anti-poverty effect of Chinese country and draws the conclusion that to reduce the poverty intensity we must pay attention to not only the economic growth but also the income redistribution.
