Abstract: Nowadays, China is facing the dilemma of development and stabilization. On one hand, the transformation from made in China to Created in China needs to be promoted. On the other hand, more positions need to be created to improve people's livelihood and to maintain social harmony and stability. However, the impact of innovation on employment is uncertain because of the complex interaction between different types of innovation activities in employment creation. Our study builds up Jordi model for the relation mechanism of innovation and employment, and analyzes the employment creation effect and microcosmic mechanism of firm innovation. Our study finds that the employment growth in the manufacturing industry is relatively slow. And the main reason is the short slab and incoordination of technology innovation and non-technology innovation. The cooperative development will not only promote the employment growth, but also improve the employment quality.
