Abstract: As one of non-probability sampling methods, Snowball sampling uses sampling methods by cues, which are triggered by peer recommendation and successive recommendation, to expansion tissue samples commonly. This paper introduces a sample estimation method called Capture-Recapture into the concurrent and diverse Snowball Sampling to estimate parameters. On the basis of comparing a variety of estimation methods including Peterson, Chapman and so on, this paper proposes a basic idea, that is, using a weighted linear model to estimate the overall size. And one empirical analysis of a real sample survey has been carried out.
