Abstract: Aiming at the flaws in literatures，we re-measured mixed income of individual owners and farmers, compensation of employees, and labor’s share in China from 1993 to 2007. The results show that the share in GDP of compensation of employees, compensation of employees and labor remuneration, which includes labor remuneration of individual owners and farmers, declined from 1995 and declined more rapidly from 2002. We find that the main facts causing the decline in labor’s share is that the development of self-employed business lags behind the whole economy. So, making individual economy to match the whole economy is one of the important policy directions.
