Abstract: This article uses the logistic regression method to analyze the influential factors on life satisfaction. At first, we select five factors accounting to the current achievements in the research and propose studying hypotheses. Then we construct unordered multinomial logistic regression model to show that whether the factors are significant. based on these research, we find that annual household income, living area and opinion on social equality have significant impact on rural residents’ life satisfaction in Jiangsu Province. Therefore, keeping steady state economy to promote the sustained growth in rural residents’ income, promoting all aspects of socialist economic, political and cultural development to achieve the goal of social equality will be two effective measures to improve life satisfaction of rural residents in Jiangsu Province.
