Abstract: The paper makes a forecast and analysis of economic growth rate in the next 15 years, both quantitatively and qualitatively, by using the Harrod-Doma Economic growth model and economic cycle model. The results show that the goal of quadrupling GNP per capita by the end of 2000 proposed in the fifth plenary session of the 14th central committee of the CPC can be realized two years ahead of schedule, the goal that the 2010 GNP should double the 2000 GNP may be attained a year in advance.
