Abstract: Four kinds of Annual statistics on the important matters of All countries had been translated and published in modern China. The translation and publication of Annual statistics on the important matters of all countries was an important event in statistical modern history. To some extent, they have an effect on the cognition of the "Yearbook". Under their influence, some people have been engaged in various statistical comparison. At the same time, Annual statistics on the important matters of all countries had widespread influence among the ideological circles in the late Qing Dynasty. Kang Youwei’s thought and Liang Qichao’s conception of history changed in this period. Annual statistics on the important matters of all countries maybe provide some help and play a special role in the process.
