Abstract: Based on the multi-regional Input-Output Tables of China in 1997 and 2007, this paper discusses the features and trends of the spillover and feedback effects between Costal and Non-coastal regions. From the viewpoint of parameters calculation, the intra-regional multiplier effect is bigger than inter-regional spillover effect, and the spillover effect is bigger than the feedback effect. Meanwhile, the trend that the multiplier effect was decreasing and the spillover and feedback effects were increasing is also displayed. It has also shown such features that the spillover and feedback effects form Costal to Non-coastal were less than those from Non-costal to Costal. After the scale effect being considered, it was detected that the spillover and feedback effect from Costal to Non-costal were bigger than those from Non-costal to Costal. From the viewpoint of industries, it’s also showed that the construction, machinery manufacturing and transportation equipment manufacturing have a relatively high spillover effects on both Costal and Non-coastal economies.
