Abstract: Agricultural policy in China has shifted from taxing agriculture to supporting agriculture which includes tax elimination, area payment and input subsidy. In this paper, we apply OECD model to get results that the area payment brings less effect than input subsidy does. So, substantially increasing input subsidy and properly increasing area payment have significant effects on increasing agriculture production and rural household income.
