中国靠什么成为世界第一出口大国?

摘要: 内容提要:采用出口份额加权的广度指数、对数平均(logarithmic mean)加权的数量指数和价格指数、类似G-L指数核密度分布曲线,本文将中国出口的市场份额分解为广度(extensive margin)、数量和价格。结论发现,中国出口增长70%源自数量扩张;价格低于世界平均水平,且没有明显上升趋势,对市场份额提升的贡献度仅为10%左右;从跨国比较看,中国出口数量高于其他出口大国,价格低于其他出口大国;中国主要依靠数量优势实现了出口第一。实现竞争模式从“以量取胜”到“以质取胜”的转变,成为发展对外贸易的新课题。

Abstract: Abstract: With the Feenstra(1994) variety index、logarithmic mean weighted quantity and price index、G-L index kernel density distribution curve, we decompose China’s export market ratio into extensive margin, quantity and price. We arrived at the following conclusions: 70% of China’s export market ratio increase is due to quantity growth; price is lower than world average level, and there is no obvious increasing trend; China’s export quantity is higher than other countries, with price being lower than them. Therefore, how to change China’s export patter from quantity-driven to quality-driven is a new subject for China’s future trade development.
