Abstract: It's of very importance to measure labor income share correctly. This paper first analyses the measurement problems of labor income share from the perspective of definition and data and their influences on the accuracy of the measurement results. Then it sums up several adjustment methods aiming at some measurement problems and appraises them. Finally, the OSPUE in china is estimated by means of the data of UHS, RHS and population survey. Based on this, it measures labor income share in China from 1993 to 2008 using the data of flow of funds table and conducts necessary adjustments. Moreover, trend analysis and international comparison of labor income share are carried out.
