Abstract:

In recent years, peasant is divided into two types which include agricultural peasant and non-agricultural peasant. High price of grain makes the benefit of agricultural peasant be contrary to that of those peasant who grow food crops as merchandise, peasant who grow non-food crops and peasant with insufficient land, peasant without land and peasant victims of natural calamities. Because of the price increase of agricultural materials and transaction cost, etc. Income of peasant who grow food crops as merchandise is positive relevant with high price of grain, but negative relevant with the income of peasant as a whole. Increase of grain price makes price of subsidiary food such as vegetables increase which affects the peasant as a whole mainly under the condition of large quantity of non-agricultural peasants.
