Abstract: This paper puts forward a new method to update direct consumption coefficients, which averages the results of revised RAS method and revised CE method. Because electric data is accurate and available in time, the revised RAS and revised CE methods with electric data are presented to set up a combined updating method, and then assess the performance of three methods by case study. The results show that the combined updating method is better than the other two.
