Abstract: Sinice 1990, the rapid urbanization of China has played an important role in Chinese housing market. How to solve the housing problems in urban areas affects not only the urbanization of China but also the development of the housing market. Based on the study of the notional demand for house by newincreased population of urban areas, this paper analyses the status of housing market in China, predicts its development trends, and provides some reasonable suggestions.
