Abstract: With the enviromental problem highlighted, people begin to think of the city, which is suitable for human settlement. Based on the concept and some thought about sustainable development for human, this article gives a statistical indicator system about a city suitable for human settlement and analyzes 35 largemiddle-sized cities through this system. The aim to write this article is to give a set of scientific and reasonable and easy to work indicator system.
