Abstract: In this paper, using input-output techniques, the author established a impact method to analysis the relationship among technical structural changes, final demand structural changes and energy requirement. The China’s energy-economy input-output tables of 18 sectors for 1987 and 1992 were used as case studies. This method exactly revealed the relationship between economic structure changes and energy requirement.
