Abstract: Great changes have taken place in data process and data management of statistical survey with the emergence of computer. The author believes that great changes will also take place in data collection, data transmission and information release of statistical survey with the emergence of Internet, thereby causing a historical change in information process from data collection to information release. This paper mainly discusses the feasibility and significance of Internet survey, its superiority to the traditional one, the clarification of methods, the conception description and technology conceiving as well as the application of Internet survey and some correlative issues.
