Abstract: The study of measurement on the income gap among industries at home and abroad, is all based on building a relative index to measure a country or a region's income gap, such as Gini coefficient and Theil index. The establishment of Quarter Map Model of industry income gap, can not only compare the income gap among industries in one region, but also compare the income gap among areas in one industry. At the same time, it also can be used to quantify the effect sizes of the whole income gap caused by each area and each industry (contribution rate). More importantly, it can describe the effect sizes in the Quarter Map Model, which can be used for visual analysis intuitively and accurately.
